MPA 511 - Accounting for Business Combinations and International Operations Min Units: 3 Max Units: 3 This course introduces students to financial reporting issues faced by publicly-held corporations. Course topics include financial statement translation and remeasurement, consolidations, segment reporting, the content of the Management Discussion and Analysis, and financial statement notes. Students will be expected to apply the requirements of U.S. and international generally accepted accounting principles and the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission “Rules and Regulations”.
