AC 301 - Intermediate Accounting I Min Units: 3 Max Units: 3 The course provides a practical approach to the accounting cycle, and a conceptual approach to the valuation uses underlying the construction of external financial statements. It is the foundation upon which extensive research and application practice will be based in AC 302. Problem solving is heavily emphasized in this course. The assignments, exams, and group activities are designed to develop students’ critical thinking and creative problem solving skills, and written and oral communication skills.
