The Medical Spanish minor is 21 hours and consists of:
- Spanish: 9 hours
- One Skills course (3 hours)
- One Literature/Culture course (3 hours)
- One Linguistics course (3 hours)
- College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences: 9 hours
- BSHS/RX 481 Introduction to Medical Spanish (3 hours)
- BSHS/RX 482 Advanced Medical Spanish (3 hours)
- BSHS/RX 489 Spanish/English Medical Interpretation (3 hours)
- One of the following electives (3 hours):
- 300-level or above in Spanish
- BSHS 385 Healthcare Immersion Abroad
- BSHS/RX 483 Medical Spanish Service Learning
- BSHS/RX 484 Spanish Language Immersion Trip
- RX 692 Indigent Care Rotation
