Jazz Studies Minor

The Jazz Studies minor requires 22 credits.

• An audition is required.
• The minimum acceptable grade for all required music courses is a C.
• The Jazz Studies Minor has the following arts event attendance requirement: the student must attend a minimum of 16 events during their matriculation at Butler, regardless of the number of semesters of enrollment as an official Jazz Studies Minor. Of these events, 8 must be in music, 2 in dance, 2 in theatre, 2 in art or arts-related lecture events, and 2 of the student’s choice. Records are maintained online.
