Music Minor

The Music minor requires 24 credits.
An audition is not required.
The minimum acceptable grade for all required Music courses is a C.
The Music minor has the following arts event attendance requirement: the student must attend a minimum of 16 events during their matriculation at Butler, regardless of the number of semesters of enrollment as an official Music Minor. Of these events, 8 must be in music, 2 in dance, 2 in theatre, 2 in art or arts-related lecture events, and 2 of the student’s choice. Records are maintained online

Choose additional courses in Applied Music, Diction, Ensemble, Music Education, Music History, or Music Theory to reach 24 credits.
