In order to better understand the world around them, students will deepen their understandings of mathematical concepts. Problem- and project-based learning will be used to intentionally apply course material in everyday situations. Based in research about how we learn, this course will allow students to reason quantitatively as they analyze and create real-world situations nested within the mathematical domains under study.
