CME 211 - Authorship in Film and Television

This course examines the complex process of authorship in film and television. The work of one or more producers, directors, and/or showrunners, along with their key creative collaborators, is analyzed during the course of an entire semester to better understand how each authorial vision is generated within specific technical, aesthetic, and industrial contexts. Prerequisite(s): CME majors, CME minors, or permission of the department chair
