CME 111 - Introduction to Creative Media and Entertainment Min Units: 3 Max Units: 3 This course introduces students to the history, parameters, and current conditions of the creative media and entertainment businesses and industry. It covers the various creative media in the digital age, how they evolved over the past century, and in which entertainment sectors they presently reside. This class covers the fundamental concepts and theories, technologies and aesthetics, work cultures and audiences that are relevant to a basic understanding of creative media and entertainment as a field of study, a career path, and a major preoccupation and pursuit for millions of people around the world. (U) Fall Prerequisite(s): CME majors, CME minors, or permission of the department chair
