CH 351 - Organic Chemistry I

Course covers the nomenclature, stereochemistry, resonance, reactions and mechanisms of organic compounds including reactions of alkyl halides and electrophilic additions to non-polar pi bonds. Additionally, the course will address basic laboratory techniques. Three hours of lecture and one 3-hour lab per week. (U) Fall
