CH 103 - Introductory Chemistry

An introductory course in chemistry for students with limited or no background in the field. The application of analytical reasoning skills to solving chemical problems will be emphasized. Topics include an introduction to the metric system and unit conversions, basic atomic structure, naming of simple ionic and covalent compounds, density and molarity, chemical equations and stoichiometry.
