BSHS 310 - Nutrition for Healthcare Professionals Min Units: 3 Max Units: 3 In this course, students will master the fundamentals of nutrition and dietary guidelines across the lifespan. Students will learn nutrition care assessment and intervention, and will explore enteral and parenteral nutrition support. Students will learn about nutrition and dietary changes in a variety of disorders including gastrointestinal disorders, cardiovascular disease, diabetes, liver or kidney disease, and cancer. (U) Annually, term varies Prerequisite(s): COPHS student and sophomore standing
