BSHS 230 - Healthcare Systems and Policy

Health care reform is centered on improving quality and access of health care while managing costs. Future health care practitioners must consider these three factors when making health care decisions and providing care. This course is intended to help the student understand the health care environment and to provide an overview of how health care administration decisions are made with a focus on policy development. Prerequisite(s): BSHS 110  or PHE 102
