AS 461 - Computational Astrophysics

An introduction to numerical methods frequently used in astrophysics for solving problems that cannot be solved analytically in a closed mathematical form. Topics include numerical solution of problems dealing with oscillatory motion, gravitation, electrical fields, stellar dynamics, stellar evolution, Schrödinger equation, and fluid mechanics.
