ART 308 - Graphic Design 1

This course provides an introduction to design concepts from an artistic and structural perspective. Students are introduced to a range of design problems, with an emphasis on the interplay of image, text, and creativity. Students develop an understanding of typographic design and gain expertise in vector and bitmap environments. (U) Fall
Prerequisite(s): Art major/minor/concentration and ART 107  or ART 207 , or permission of the instructor
