SW 281-RX - Research Ethics Min Units: 3 Max Units: 3 This is an introductory course related to the values in biomedical sciences. The course will emphasize on ethical, societal, and legal issues in biomedicine and how scientific integrity, mentorship, and ownership of inventions leads human health globally. Students will engage in critical analyses, discussion, and presentations on published cases on misconduct and ethical violations in biomedical research, and mistreatment of humans and animals.
