This course covers concepts of molecular biology in application to drug action and new drug development. Specific sections cover consecutive steps leading to normal and pathological gene expression, cellular signal transduction/malfunction, molecular biology of cancer, and pharmacogenomics. Course includes introduction to current research methodology and analysis of scientific data. (G) Annually, term varies
