PO 374 - Poverty and Access to Justice Min Units: 3 Max Units: 3 This course explores the meaning of access to justice, in the context of the United States legal system, especially for those who cannot afford to hire an attorney. We will examine the history and role of civil legal aid and pro bono representation in the current delivery system. Innovations in bridging the justice gap will be explored.
