As part of their education and professional development, all Physics and Astronomy majors are required to attend departmental colloquiums, where invited speakers discuss topics of interest in Physics, Astronomy or Astrophysics. As a requirement for graduation, all Physics and Astronomy Astrophysics majors must enroll and pass this course every semester, unless the Department approves an exemption for study abroad.
