MBA 552 - Managing People in Global Organizations

This course is designed to help leaders of international companies develop the knowledge and skills they will need to interact effectively with people from other cultures. The concept of culture, how cultures differ from one another and how culture influences interactions between people in a global business environment will be examined. Particular emphasis will be placed upon understanding the implications of cultural differences for management practice in the areas of motivation, leadership, communication, negotiation styles, conflict resolution, and human resource policies.
