HST 341 - U.S. Women’s History Min Units: 3 Max Units: 3 This course examines the history of U.S. women through an exploration of the political, social, and cultural contribution of women to the nation. The course focuses on the experiences of U.S. women from a variety of vantage points: as workers, reformers, political activists, artists, and more. At the discretion of the instructor, the course either covers from the colonial period to the present or from 1848 to the present. First-year students admitted only by permission of the department.
