COM 301 - Intensive Industry Experience

This class prepares students for entry into industries reflected in the majors of CCOM. Professionals/practitioners from the selected industry will work directly with students to assess skills and illustrate what life in the industry is all about. Students will engage in career planning and develop materials relevant to the industry (resume, CV, demo reel, portfolios, etc). Students will also receive guidance as they pursue internships, graduate school, and/or the first full-time job. This course is conducted in a hybrid modality, with some in-person meeting and some video conferencing. This course may include a trip to visit relevant organizations. (U)
