CS 448 - Deep Learning and Computer Vision Min Units: 3 Max Units: 3 This course focuses on deep learning, a subset of machine learning that solves problems using artificial neural networks (or ANN). Deep learning algorithms “layer” their learning by creating a hierarchy of identifications: simpler ones lead to more complex ones. We will apply this technique to the application area of computer vision, where students will also get an introduction to image processing, image analysis, and interpreting the 2D/3D world from image data. (U) Fall Prerequisite(s): CS445
