Applied Music Instruction is offered in the following for either undergraduate or graduate credit for music majors: bassoon, bass clarinet, cello, clarinet, double bass, euphonium, flute, guitar, harp, harpsichord, horn, oboe, organ, percussion, piano, piccolo, saxophone, trombone, trumpet, tuba, viola, violin, and voice.
Students who are not majoring in music may study applied music as resources allow. To do so, students must complete an application requesting permission and generally must also be enrolled in an approved School of Music ensemble. Details are available online.
