The Business Technology and Analytics (BTA) program combines Management Information Systems (MIS), and Data Analytics (DA). The program emphasizes the application of technology and analytics to business problem-solving by equipping students with the practical skills needed to successfully compete in a global, connected, and technology and data driven world. BTA students develop technological agility and an understanding of the factors influencing managerial decisions, while driving innovation, and focus on the intersection of technology with people and business processes. BTA prepares leaders in business technology and analytics with the skills needed to compete in the connected world.
Business Technology and Analytics Student Learning Outcomes
- Graduate will be able to:
- Recognize and apply the necessary balance among people, processes, and technology to implement a successful management information system.
- Construct and apply appropriate analytical models, tools, and techniques to support dynamic business decisions through descriptive and predictive methodologies.
