Requirements for the History Major

• HST 101 - An Introduction to History & Anthropology Min Units: 3
• Two lower-division (100-200-level or TI 200-HST level) courses, one of which must be focused on Asia, Latin America, Middle East/Africa, or world/transnational history
• HST 301 - Historiography Min Units: 3
• HST 302 - Junior Seminar Min Units: 3
• HST 401 - Senior Capstone Project Min Units: 3
• Five upper-division courses (300 level or above) from at least three of the following areas: Asia, Europe, Latin America, United States, Africa and the Middle East, or world/transnational history
