This course is designed as a capstone experience for sociology/criminology/social work majors in their senior year at Butler. This course is organized around students making use of the knowledge and skills they have acquired in their other courses toward the completion of an Independent Research Project Proposal. In this respect, the focus of this course is on each individual student applying what they have learned to demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of the discipline by creating, developing, and presenting an original independent research project proposal.
