BSHS 480 - Integrative/Holistic Medicine

Introduction and exposure to holistic therapies used as medical treatments. The course will focus on nonconventional therapies and their use in preventive and therapeutic therapy as well as the quality evidence to support their use. Topics include nutrition, physical activity, medication, acupuncture, herbal, and alternative medicines. (U) Fall
Prerequisite(s): COPHS student with BSHS second year or Pharmacy P1 standing; or permission of the instructor
