BSHS 319 - Introduction to Healthcare Analytics

This course will introduce students to curation and analysis of different types of healthcare-related data, including Electronic Health Records (EHR). Students will gain experience analyzing data using Microsoft Excel and the R programming language, and visualization techniques will allow them to present their insights to others. Students will analyze a real, relevant data set and communicate the results to others. The topics addressed in this course will prepare students to understand health data using a variety of methods.
