The University requires students to maintain an overall grade point average (GPA) of 2.0. Students who allow their GPAs to fall below this level are placed on probation and face the prospect of being declared academically ineligible. Supply Chain majors must attain a grade of C- or better in MS 350 (eventually to be renamed as SC 350) to continue pursuing a Supply Chain major and to qualify for their first internship. They must achieve at least a 2.30 cumulative GPA in MS 350 and the five major Supply Chain courses.

LSB Core (65 hours)

University Electives (12 hours)

Any course in the university unless specifically prohibited or limited. *

*SW 220, MA 101, MA 102, MA 104, MA 162, MK 280, AR 210 and ED 245 are not permitted for LSB majors, for either the LAS or the University Elective (unless indicated by placement exams) and EN 101 (unless indicated by the SAT, ACT or TOEFL test scores). The spirit of this limitation means LSB students may not take courses that repeat material required by any LSB course, especially if that material is at a lower level.

LAS Electives (6 hours)

The primary criterion for qualifying as an LAS elective is that the course be part of the traditional liberal arts and sciences rather than professional training. Unless specifically noted, any course under each area will count as an LAS elective. Any courses not listed must receive prior approval from the Director of Undergraduate Advising. NOTE: You can always confirm whether the course meets this requirement by running the Academic Requirements report on My.Butler.
