Biology Content Area Requirements (49 hours)

Following this curricular plan will ensure that you meet the Butler University and initial Indiana licensing course requirements for teaching Biology for grades 5-12. Courses must be completed with a grade of C or better to meet the standard for College of Education students.

Second Major Requirements

Middle/Secondary Education majors with the Biology content area may also choose to declare a second major in Biology, (BA or BS)

Additional courses beyond those listed above are required for students declaring a second major. Students should see their LAS advisor for additional requirements.
