Medical Science Certificate

The online Medical Science Certificate provides students with an opportunity to select four of nine medical areas to expand their knowledge without undertaking an entire degree. The 12-credit hour certificate includes utilization of evidence based medicine within the course and strengthen knowledge in their choice of 4 of the 9 areas.

Applicants to the Medical Science Certificate must have successfully graduated from a PA program accredited by the Accreditation Review Commission on the Education of a Physician Assistant.

The Medical Science Certificate includes four, three- credit modules for a total of 12 hours, which can be completed in just two semesters, but may take longer depending on the topics that one wishes to take since the courses are typically offered annually.
