The Master of Music in Instrumental Conducting degree requires the completion of 30 credit hours, including AM 710 , which consists of a full recital (60 minutes of music) or two half-recitals (30 minutes of music on each). A DVD recording of the final recital(s), along with the completed recital grading form(s) and two copies of the printed program(s), must be submitted to the Associate Director for Graduate Music Studies following completion of the recital(s). The DVD and programs will be placed in the collection of the University Library. This must be completed before the degree will be conferred.

A final comprehensive oral examination (AM 799 ) covering the entire program of study, including the final recital(s), is required at the end of the program (after the successful recital or two half-recitals).
