NW 225-ENV - Environmental Science Min Units: 5 Max Units: 5 In this environmental science class, we will investigate the natural world and the ways human activities are reshaping it. This includes examining the physical components of nature, such as nutrient cycling and energy flow, as well as ecological processes like natural selection, species diversity, communities, and ecosystems. Building on this foundation, students will investigate how ecosystems are affected by climate change, pollution, and other anthropogenic influences. Throughout the course, we will consider how society interacts with these resources. These topics will be explored through lectures, activities, and laboratory investigations.
