Do you know people who just have this amazing talent for telling stories? They can make us laugh, cry, and ponder the universe with their anecdotes, tall tales, and personal history stories. Every one of us has stories to tell, and every one of us CAN learn to tell a story. We will explore the components of a good story and how to deliver them orally. No dull powerpoint presentations in this class! We will watch and listen to story tellers on the Moth Radio Hour as well as at story telling evenings in Indy. We will cover children’s stories, scary stories, 5-minute impromptu stories, stories long and short. No matter your skill level, you will enjoy learning to tell stories and to speak well in a comfortable communal environment. Make the world a better place through story! (U) Fall and spring
