MA 320 - Big Data Ethics, Governance, and Beyond Min Units: 3 Max Units: 3 This course provides an overview of emerging concerns of using Big Data and Machine Learning Models in today’s world. The course will examine the current issues related to using Big Data and Machine Learning Models, and possible solutions, and use of data visualization for effective storytelling. Topics include Biases in data and algorithms, ethics of Big Data, data governance, sustainability issues in using large machine learning models, data visualization, and storytelling for Big Data.
