BSHS 385 - Healthcare Immersion Abroad

This is a short-term study abroad experience that includes healthcare immersion in a foreign country. This course will help students explore the diversity of national healthcare systems as well as reflect on health determinants, health disparities, healthcare access and barriers to healthcare in the content of another culture. The course will include international travel and is a hybrid study-abroad course. In addition for in-person components during the international travel portion, there will be online components before, during and after returning from international travel. (U) Summer
