TI 265-COE - Cultural Appreciation of Australian Literature

Min Units: 3
Max Units: 3
Students will analyze fiction/non-fiction stories and poems of Australian authors where they will examine cultural differences/similarities and aesthetic appreciation between Australia and the US through a variety of literature types. Selected readings will vary but may include “Breath” by Tim Winton, “The Secret River” by Kate Grenville, and “Tracks” by Robyn Davidson. (U)
