PS 404 - Sensory Processes and Perception Min Units: 3 Max Units: 3 An intensive introduction to the phenomena, data and theories in sensory processes and perception. Topics include a historical and philosophical background to the study of perception, light and the eye, the central visual pathways, color perception, depth perception, spatial perception, the perception of action and events, touch, kinesthesis, hearing, traditional and ecological theories of perception, and how perception research is applied to the design of our world (i.e., human factors).
