This course offers students an opportunity to synthesize what they have learned through their coursework in Anthropology, create a meaningful research project, and prepare for their next steps beyond Butler whether graduate school or the job market. With professors and peers as allies, you will either take a past project that you want to develop further or develop a new project in order to create a final product that you find meaningful personally, intellectually, and professionally. Course readings, workshops, and exercises will offer you the opportunity to improve your mastery of the field, explore your personal goals, and gain confidence in your work through sustained scholarly activity. Students will also have time to reflect on their personal and professional goals while exploring practical tips and advice for landing a job, succeeding in grad school, and building a career.
