PHE 301 - Epidemiology Min Units: 3 Max Units: 3 Epidemiology is the science that investigates patterns, causes, and effects of diseases in populations, and it plays a crucial role in informing public health policies and interventions. This college-level epidemiology course provides students with a comprehensive understanding of the principles, methods, and applications of epidemiology in the fields of science and public health. Through lectures, discussions, case studies, and practical exercises, students will develop the knowledge and skills necessary to critically analyze health data, identify disease risk factors, and contribute to the prevention and control of health problems in communities.
